The frontal zone is extremely close and so is the jet stream. It is storming strongly from west to northwest. Full amounts deep into the inner Alps into Valais, Silvretta and central Grisons.

Medium-term

I'm pretty sure there will be an alert from Sunday evening until Tuesday. I don't really see a real changeover, despite the optimistic WeatherBlog, not really, as cold air keeps moving into the Atlantic near North America and the low pressure areas move too far north for the Alps, which means heat and dryness and massive westerly wind events again and again.
