Partner News | Climb the Mountain Splitboard Testival in the Silvretta

Event announcement CTM 2017

by PowderGuide 01/16/2017
The proven splitboard testival Climb the Mountain goes into the next round. From 27-29 January 2017, test equipment for splitboarders will be available at the Berggasthof Piz Buin at the Silvretta reservoir on the Bielerhöhe. There will also be a lecture program, a film screening with Aline Bock and guided tours in the Silvretta on request.

The Climb the Mountain is the largest splitboard-specific test event in the Alps. On Saturday, the main test day, everyone present can test an average of six to eight different boards and accessories - made possible by the Splitboards Europe team. The supporting program with lectures on splitboarding, alpine dangers and an avalanche transceiver exercise is aimed primarily at beginners. The traditional splitboard race is also a challenge for long-time splitboarders and of course the extensive test and tour options are interesting for all splitboard enthusiasts.

The camp price of €220 includes test participation and the evening supporting program as well as two overnight stays at the Berggasthof Piz Buin at over 2000m, with half board, plus 1 lift ticket and the transfer cab to the Bielerhöhe.
