Gear of the Week | Sunday for Future PICTURE Demain pants and jacket

This combo from PICTURE is the ideal companion for ski touring and freeriding. You'll even make a good impression on the slopes. The simple black also looks great at après-ski and you can rock the dancefloor with confidence.

Of course, the outfit should be used primarily on the mountain, as it was made for just that. With the Demain combo, Picture has designed a high-end product that has everything to make a skier's heart beat faster.

The jacket and pants are top technical products with maximum breathability, windproofness and waterproofness. The material looks very robust and suggests that it will accompany us for many seasons! Useful details such as hand loops, goggle cleaning cloth, snow guard and edge protection are of course included. This outfit is therefore my first choice for ski touring.

PICTURE attaches the utmost importance to sustainable and environmentally friendly products. The materials used are fully recyclable and no harmful chemicals are used.

The jacket and dungarees are extremely comfortable to wear. There is optimum freedom of movement on the ascent and descent. And if things don't go quite smoothly on the descent and the skis get off track: The edge protection forgives small skiing mistakes and increases the durability of the pants. But if something does break on the pants or jacket, PICTURE guarantees repairs for the entire service life of the outfit. This is sustainable, protects the environment and your wallet.

XPORE membrane

The XPORE membrane developed by BenQ is manufactured without any harmful chemicals or solvents. Many well-known membranes use PFCs for outdoor clothing. These are perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals, which are environmentally hazardous substances, are very persistent and therefore remain in nature for several hundred years. PICTURE uses the environmentally friendly XPORE membrane to avoid PFCs. The Xpore membrane is completely recyclable and highly breathable. The jacket can be kept on even on longer climbs and in warmer winter temperatures. The wind does not cool you down and sweat is wicked away to the outside. If you do get a little sweaty, the underarm vents can be opened and cooling air can be let under the jacket.

In snowfall, the jacket keeps you dry at all times, which makes us freeriders happy. So you can stay on your skis all day if your legs are up to it.
