He can look back on a number of successes. Among other things, in 2007 he was the first skier to ski all 54 mountains in Colorado that are over 4,300 m high in less than a year ("Ski the 14ers"). On rainy and snowy days, the combo kept me perfectly dry. The DWR seems to work and the water rolls off nicely. At least on the slightly cooler days, I also enjoyed wearing the jacket on the ascent. The pants have outer and inner leg ventilation with waterproof zippers. This is ideal on warm days. That's how I imagine proper ventilation! The jacket is also reinforced at the shoulders for carrying a backpack.
