 The Powderguide Avalanche-Information-System (AIS)
It is the PowderGuide-Project´s aim to increase the hazard awareness of winter sports enthusiasts through information and education - hereby inspiring them to a more prudent attitude in avalanche imperilled terrain. With the help of modern media we want to call attention to the obvious and especially the hidden dangers. Above all, it is vital to convey, to the athletes, tools and methods for self responsible risk reduction. We call our media portfolio on avalanche information and risk communication the PowderGuide Avalanche-Information-System (AIS). |
