hier eine Anleitung wie man die 14 USD Eintrittsgeld umgehen kann, die man ab 8 September bei EInreise in die Usa entrichten muss (vorab und online).

Yet, quite ironically, to pay for this new venture, it means from 8 September ESTA applications will have a $14 fee attached to them (and your card may charge a conversion fee too). $4 covers the administration of ESTA and $10 goes towards the travel promotion fee."
also entweder vorher anmelden, oder über Canada einreisen. Oder eben für die nervige und unerwünschte Werbung auch noch Geld bezahlen...
